Rihanna - We Found Love

This is probably one of Rihanna's most meaningful videos next to Russian Roulette and Man Down. She's really come a long, long way since Pon De Replay. believe that this video represents the current reality the culture of the eternal youth that destroys itself.

Thanks a lot, leave me some comments if you like my blog, don't be shy...

RAD HOURANI-UNISEX FASHION

Sometimes we are surprised hearing people talk, we realise that, sometimes, people have  a vision similar to ourself. I believe that Rad Hourani is a pretty good example. His pieces are printed by modernity. I believe that kind of clothes will be eternal by their timeless cuts and their colors .

Rad Hourani reinvents fashion by transcending its conventions, creating a unisex luxury that is changing women’s and men’s wardrobes since he launched his namesake label in 2007 in Paris. Like all truly great visionnaires, Hourani not only depicts fashion, he defines it, and gives it cultural resonance. Gender-agnosticism is the driving conceptual direction in Rad Hourani's work, and growing up and living in such different parts of the world has certainly contributed to Hourani’s rather holistic design approach: self-tought and driven by a passion for modernity, Hourani creates a luxurious yet affordable lifestyle that has rid itself of any conventional restrictions : no gender, no season, no rules, epitomising the values of freedom and unisex elegance. SLEEKnature-

As I have already mentioned  previously, I am pretty inspired by all which is organic. For my part, I find that there's nothing more modern than  the forms from nature. I believe that when the human looks for the modernity, it is little because he is for his own research...

This season is characterised by the polarity of extremes. As the seasons seamlessly roll out across the year, the angry and weird shout out alongside the quietly rational and rooted. While a sense of uncertainty and disorientation prevails, environmental influences provide a space for contemplation. Atmospheric colour murmurs and comforts rather than confronts. In this space, re-evaluate what neutral means as an attitude rather than acolour to bring about formal order and rationality.Colour is re-contextualised, subverting expectations. Alternative references influence autumnal palettes, which in turn become more outlandish yet casual, as workwear goes formal. Escapism and fantasy punctuate this otherwise balanced message, bringing out an anarchic activist story of protest artists, eccentricities and theatre. The aggressive fire and warmth of urban energy is powered by lunacy and emotion.(source:http://www.wgsn.com/)

The spirit of video inspires me a lot, well, the nature and the woman who make only one. I find it very poetic, but it's the return to the base of life, We coexist with an ecosystem.

SHOWstudio-JOIE DE VIVRE

Encapsulating all the dark glamour, divine decadence and hedonistic joy of the roaring Twenties, Gareth Pugh's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection is a stylised silver and black Art Deco fantasy projected at breakneck speed into the twenty-first century.

OBSESSIONS for Fall 11|12

When I look for beautiful clothes designers, I have my small network of stores where I can find specials pieces. This week, I found on-line, om the Reborn website, a boutique where you can find a lot of designer stuff, in the Old port of Montreal. I pretty much like that boutique cause you can find exclusive's brands that you can't find in Montreal. The coat from Boris Bidjan Saberi is pretty good example of pieces you can find.
Black, oiled lamb leather jacket with single vertical zipper closure on front with printed interior lining, raw-edge detail on cuffs, signature piece construction throughout, high stand collar and extended pockets on either side.
100% Leather
$CAD 2699
Black, washed leather low laced boot with minimal seam detail and rubber sole.
100% Leather
$CAD 425

I really have preferences for sure values, when we talk about fashion. Indeed, I prefer a classic garment that I can wear season after season than a garment too trendy which I can't wear more than twice. I think these shoes from Common projects are a good exemple of what I said; the model remains trendy, without sinking however into the too much or the rigard. These are leather and have soles in rubber.

Graphic print bordered polaroid image square scarf.
100% Silk
$CAD 350

Finally, this is a real piece of art from a french designer, called  Philippe Roucou, its scarfs are completely georgious. Personally, I like the impressions on silk scarfs; that give you the feelign that you wear art.

Well, I hope to have made you discover  new address. Reborn is located in the Old Port of Montreal, but is accessible from your home online.

SHOWstudio: Ruth Hogben, In Fashion interview

Sometimes your are inspired by people who tell or do things that touch you, because you have maybe... somes commons points with them. I think that is the case of  Ruth Hogben is a great fimlmaker. Their fashion video are so graphic and sleek. She goes right to the point without useless things and let the clothes talk from themselves.

This is an interview, she did for SHOWstudio with Alex Fury:

The interview is really interessanting, we can easily see the humble character of the young woman. Furthermore, we can, after the visionement of the interview, denoted a little its personality in her work.

GOOGLE is launching a ecommerce

According to Huntington, Google will be entering the online fashion retail arena, helped by the technology and know-how it gained with the acquisition of visual search technology company Like.com last August.
Huntington adds that the fashion ecommerce site will be called Boutiques.com (the domain name is owned by Like.com but the website is password-protected):
Well frockwriter can fill in a few blanks. Our sources say that the new Google fashion initiative is called Boutiques.com and boasts not only online boutiques selling merchandise offered by various designers and retailers, but a large number of curated “boutiques” selling the looks worn by celebrities and other influencers.
This is line with earlier reports (WSJ) that Google is poised to upgrade its shopping site Google Product Search (once called Froogle) to compete more fiercely with the likes of Amazon and eBay.
Update: Google Product Search just got a major revamp.
If the rumors check out, the launch of a fashion-specific comparison shopping site pits Google squarely against eBay first and foremost.
The latter has steadily been ramping up its fashion offerings lately: the company released an iPhone app for the vertical, a one-stop-shop for all things fashion on its marketplace dubbed eBay Fashion and a flash sales site that sells designer clothes at discounted prices called FashionVault. eBay also launched a site that showcases street style of eBay shoppers, called LookBook.

Atmosfear social trends inspired me: fragility, organical look, kind of wet, virginal figure, esoterisme, this is what I tried to show in my collage
